Another Day of DC Commuting
Today was another one of those bad commuting days. My husband had to go to an all day meeting minutes from our house. I on the other hand had to come all the way into town like usual. He drops me off at the bus. By the time I am walking into my office, it has been 2 hours. I still have to ride the 2 hours home. The twins are starting to pull themselves up on the coffee table, the baby jail, me and any other thing they can grab. I also have a meeting tonight at 7:30 that is supposed to only last 30 minutes. I think I have some Ben and Jerry's "Buried Treasure" in my freezer that I also have a meeting with tonight.

So if the commute is 2 hours one way...shouldn't you be able to subtract time off your work day? I used to live east side and work west side DC (Metro) and my commute could go from 1 hour to 4 varying everyday so I feel your pain and wish you luck!
ReplyDeleteI too had the same thought, doesn't my commute time count as part of my 8 hours? Or is that only in my dreams...
